5.1. Net pay issue

  • Net pay can be affected by various factors: 

    • Tax withholdings, or lack thereof 

    • Withholdings for Medicare and/or Social Security 

    • Garnishments for back taxes, child support, etc. 

    • If the check covers a partial pay period 

Important: Issue with a check? Submit a request and choose the Time Entry Adjustments category and appropriate subcategory. Please provide the pay period and pay details about why you think your paycheck was incorrect. Reference Chapter 2.6. for specific information on pay periods and pay dates.
