MI has started using a new payroll system called ADP Lyric. The first official day in ADP was September 20, 2026.  

Regardless of whether you are a new or returning Reader, always check all the information in your account – name, address, W4s (withholding), and direct deposit – to be sure everything is accurate and up to date. Be sure to read all information on updating personal information, tax forms, and direct deposit in ADP Lyric and make any revisions by the Friday before the next pay date for those revisions to be active for your next paycheck. 

Important: Initially, federal and state withholding forms for new readers, and returning readers who have not worked in the past several years, are set up in ADP Lyric as Single with 0 deductions.
