1.4. MIRA Password Requirements

To comply with Measurement Incorporated’s updated security requirements, all users will be prompted to change their password and security question upon logging into MIRA.

1. Your new password must meet the following complexity requirements:

• Cannot contain the user's account name or parts of the user's full name.
• Must be at least 8 characters in length.
• Must contain characters from 3 of the following 4 categories:

       1.  Uppercase characters (A through Z)
       2.  Lowercase characters (a through z)
       3.  Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
       4.  Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %), but do NOT use <

• Additionally, you may not use a password that you have previously used, even if it complies with the complexity standards. 
  
  

2. Next, you will select a Security Question from the following drop-down menu:

3. Then type in a new Security Answer. (The security answer is case sensitive.)

4. Once you click on Save and change everything successfully, you will get this screen:
